Slow Roasted Leeks


  • Leeks
  • Olive Oil
  • Salt & Pepper 
  • Chives 

Play by Play 

  1. Clean and cut leeks in small sizes to fit within a glass pyrex or a baking dish
  2. Drizzle olive oil and add salt and pepper 
  3. Cover with parchment paper first, then aluminum to seal it properly but to avoid chemicals from the aluminum foil to go into the food! 
  4. Set it in the oven at 275 for 2-2.5 hours or until browned. You can do it faster at a higher heat but I think the slow roast really caramelizes nicely. (350 for 1.5 hr ish)
